Our school has a swimming pool, and we start at the age of three. Our swimming teachers help us learn how to move in the water. Sometimes we are a little scared, but with persistence and the fun activities they offer us, we start to lose our fear and gain confidence in the water.
With pool noodles, arm floats, balls, and many other things, we are learning new swimming techniques. We strengthen our legs, feet, arms… they teach us different ways to breathe, even when we’re underwater. At the end of the class, we always play water games with our classmates.
What we like the most is entering and exiting through the magic showers. When we go through the showers, water falls, and it stops when we come out. Every year, we reinforce and learn new things to get ready for the summer holidays, and also for when we go on school trips! We love showing everything we’ve learned to our parents, which is why we offer open classes around April where they can see everything we do in a lesson. We love seeing the excited look on their faces when they see our progress.
Afterward, it’s all kisses and hugs: “I didn’t know you could jump off the diving board!” “You swim so many laps!”
