PDI

We continue learning in the classroom with the support of digital whiteboards. We love writing things, drawing, watching songs, playing games… They help us make our daily routines more fun and lively. In English and music classes, we dance and sing songs and play lots of games. The whiteboard also allows us to see the activities we have already done in the classroom or those other classes are doing by projecting videos and photos directly from our blog.

iPads

We love using the tablets in class. We will continue learning to use them with a lot of interactive proposals. We will dive into English activities, learning numbers, letters, sounds, and many other things. We will continue working in a transversal way with all the learning we acquire in the classroom. We will also start using the tool through some routines.

Bee-bots

This year at school we will be using the little bee robots, the bee-bots. We will start programming games to learn: how to calculate distances, approximations, link stories, work on emotions, geometric shapes, and spatial orientation (one side, the other side, in front, behind…). To begin, we will learn how they work by becoming bee-bots ourselves. We will move like them and understand what they can do and how they do it. Once we’ve learned, we’ll get started and use them with various proposals. The bee-bots move across different mats based on the instructions we give them. We can do a lot of things: from going to a pirate island with some traps, to a street full of shops and services to go shopping… the bee-bots never stop! We can also decorate and dress them up as we like, give them names… but we must take good care of them.
