Project-Based Learning

At school, we love to explore and learn about our natural and social environment through the English language. It’s so much fun to observe what surrounds us: working on our school, learning healthy habits, the seasons of the year, the universe, transportation, the street, and the shops… so many things!

We approach this learning in a very hands-on and experiential way, following the project-based methodology.

Everything we do can be seen on our blog. Don’t miss it!

We become “teachers”

In each session, we start with routine development. Every day, one child is the “teacher.” We sing a song to greet our classmates, check what day it is, what the weather is like, what month we are in, which season, plan the session, and finally, ask questions to the “teacher.”

In these sessions, we listen to songs, sing and dance, perform dramatizations, play group games, and express ourselves physically. We also use Digital Whiteboards to project and fully enjoy what we do, as well as introduce games and activities dynamically.

It’s super fun! We love moving our bodies while learning English!

Learning through stories

We enjoy reading and begin to understand what the characters do (what happens to them, what they are like…) and also comprehend the story.

The stories include very fun songs, and we love singing them together and acting out the characters.

Sometimes, we continue learning the stories through different formats (paper activities, puppets, Digital Whiteboard…).

Are you ready? “Open your eyes, open your ears, and close your mouth”

Learning through play and songs

During Let’s Move sessions, we learn English through movement. In these sessions, we learn songs and dance, practice order and physical response strategies.
We also learn new vocabulary and grammatical structures through games.
Let’s play!

Arts and crafts

We enhance children’s creativity and imagination through content work using various artistic techniques.

Psychomotricity

Psychomotricity influences children’s physical, mental, and socio-emotional development. In this playful way, we interconnect learning the English language.

Learning environments

One afternoon a week, we work together with the four classes at the same level. Each classroom offers a different space: artistic expression, role-playing games, construction, and experimentation. Children autonomously choose which space they want to go to. At the same time, students naturally interact with the three languages: English, Spanish, or Catalan, depending on the activity’s setting.
